Job summary
We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Student Voice Project Support Officer. The post holder will be a key member of the education commissioning and quality team (EC&Q) and will project manage workstreams in relating to student voice and embedding the duty of quality. This post holder will provide support in the management and development of systems and processes associated with commissioned education and the bursary.
There will be an expectation that the post holder work collaboratively with NWSSP and the Student Awards Service in relation to development and ongoing management of joint systems and processes in relation to the bursary, expenses and extensions to programmes.
Excellent communication skills will be required in this role ensuring that systems and processes are clearly articulated to a range of stakeholders including students and project plans are negotiated and kept on track.

Main duties of the job
The Project Support Manager will lead on the Student Voice Project within education commissioning programme management and will primarily support on systems and processes in relation to the student journey with a specific focus on the pre-registration bursary programme of work, management of extensions to programmes and placement expenses, embedding the duty of quality into education commissioning and management of escalations arising from the student speaking up safely programme of work.
Autonomously manage elements of the Student Voice Project as delegated.
May be asked to support other projects within Education Commissioning.
Provide administrative and technical support to the Education Commissioning Team Senior Leadership Team.
Formulate, implement and monitor progress of the Student Voice Project to ensure that programme and project work streams are planned, documented and managed effectively to assist in their successful delivery. This will also include responsibility for preparing documentation and tracking project plans and benefits.
Supporting the progress and status of the Student Voice Project and initiatives, including risk management, working closely with relevant managers, as required.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
