Job summary
The Future Workforce Manager is a specialist in their field who will lead the strategic implementation of the departments NHS Wales Careers projects. You will be central to continuing the creative development of our careers web presence (Welcome to Careersville | Careersville (heiw.wales), new systems and services which underpin the attraction of people, including school pupils and college students to consider undertaking careers within the health and care sector.
Main duties of the job
You will play a key role in linking the career projects to future workforce development plans, ensuring that plans reflect the development of an appropriately skilled workforce.
You will develop excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to explore and understand the concepts of the work, the level of resources required and potential opportunities to staff within individual organisations in adopting new ways of working which support the progression of careers and widening access initiatives.
The postholder will have line management responsibility for a small team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
