Job summary

To select items from a range of commodities, maintaining accurate and methodical selection.Ensure all orders are packed to a high standard to maintain the satisfaction of NHS Customers in Wales.

Warehouse experience is desirable for this post but not essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

A vacancy has arisen for a Stores Operative, based at Newport Stores, Imperial Park, Unit 5 Celtic Way, Newport NP10 8BE.

The hours of work will be 2 Shifts, 06.00 - 14.00, and 10.00 - 18.00 (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will work as a member of a team that receives and picks orders for Health boards. Candidates should have previous stores experience, be industrious, customer focused and understand the importance of a high-quality service.
