Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Primary Care Services within the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership. We are looking to recruit a candidate to be a service lead to help drive the division forward. The postholder will lead operationally on the management and further development of Contracts Management across Wales and also on other connected Projects/programmes.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as part of a team to achieve expected organisation objectives, but will also be expected to utilise autonomy in the day-to-day role. The candidate will be expected to work in a manner that aligns with the values of NWSSP, 'Working Together', 'Innovation', 'Listening and Learning' and 'Taking Responsibility'.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Extensive/significant relevant management experience within NHS Primary Care
  • Knowledge of NHS stakeholders including HBs, WG and Trusts.
  • Experience of working with primary care contractors
  • Experience of managing and monitoring performance and outcome measures for projects
  • Ability to manage and lead change

Desirable

  • Suitable Professional Qualification/Master Degree
