We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Analyst to join our Clinical Informatics and Business Change team. This is a pivotal role supporting the delivery of the Clinical Informatics Framework and wider IMTP milestones. You will work across clinical and non-clinical domains to analyse problems, identify opportunities, and co-design solutions that improve digital health services across NHS Wales.

Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is an expert national body and part of NHS Wales. We work in partnership with NHS Wales colleagues and other key stakeholders to provide national digital and data services which support the delivery of health and social care in Wales. Modern health and care services depend on good digital tools, data and information. DHCW runs or works with more than 100 services and delivers major national digital transformation programmes to support this. In addition, DHCW provides expert advice in relation to cyber security and information governance. We give frontline staff the digital tools which help them provide safer and more efficient care. We are also giving patients and the public digital tools to better manage their own health and wellbeing, empowering people to live healthier lives. - Educated to post-graduate level or equivalent specialist knowledge and experience.
- BSC International Diploma in Business Analysis, or a willingness to undertake it.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Detailed knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques and how to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes.
- Understanding of agile working, ideally with practical experience.
Desirable
- Knowledge of NHS Wales or the Health sector

- Experience of investigating complex problems and identifying opportunities.
- Experience applying a variety of business analysis tools and techniques, including conducting workshops, identifying, and analysing options, capturing user stories, modelling, and analysing business processes.
