We are looking for a Lead Delivery Manager to join as part of the new Digital Delivery Team within the Operations Directorate, where you will play a pivotal role in transitioning from traditional project delivery to a product orientated delivery operating model, that meets the evolving needs of our service providers and users.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will help to be accountable for leading a multidisciplinary teams as part of the Operations Directorate, creating an environment that enables delivery at pace in line with DHCW and NHS Wales standards and procedures. You will line manage the scrum team, remove blockers, lead the team in Agile ceremonies and project management meetings, working closely with Product and Service Managers to lead the Delivery Team, tracking and reporting on progress.
Fundamental to this role is a focus on creating an efficient, organised and productive environment to enable the team to deliver. Managing the day-to-day progress of the Delivery Team, building effective working relationships across all stakeholders. Promoting the right mindset of the team and encouraging commitment and participation from all team members. Keeping the Delivery Team focussed on priorities as agreed with the Product and Service Managers and aligning sprint goals to the project or programme milestones and strategic objectives.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
