Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW), to join the Digital Delivery Team (Operations Directorate).

We are recruiting a highly motivated Principal Project Manager to lead on key national digital projects designed to modernise and transform the delivery of digital services across NHS Wales.

Main duties of the job

You should have extensive experience and knowledge of planning and managing delivery of projects within time and cost.

You should have experience on the overall leadership and management of projects, including budgets and finances, delivery and reporting and resources management.

Working to tight timescales you will demonstrate the ability to successfully lead delivery and deliver outcomes to meet the directorate's objectives aligned to the organisational IMTP.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Specialist project knowledge to post graduate level or equivalent experience (Prince formal or informal).
  • Evidence of further development - education/training.
