Job summary

What we are looking for?

Principally, we are looking for enthusiastic people who work well in a team committed to delivering new functionality to help Clinicians and business users solve real world problems.

What specific skills do you need?

- Developing .NET (preferably using C#)

- Excellent understanding of OOP

- Good working knowledge of T-SQL and SQL Enterprise RDBMS

- Experience with multiplatform, mobile technologies such as Maui and Xamarin

Familiarity in the following areas will also be advantageous:

- JavaScript and jQuery

- XML Web services or Web API

- Agile development methodologies such as Scrum

- Azure DevOps

- Inversion of Control containers (such as Unity)

- Understanding and implementing SOLID principles

- Understanding of Webservice technologies such as REST.

Main duties of the job

The post holder must be able to:-

o Work closely with colleagues and customers on a daily basis and primarily through face-to-face communication to complete tasks.

o Discuss progress and notify senior staff of impediments during regular team meetings such as Daily SCRUMS.

o Discuss ideas with colleagues and review tasks and priorities in collaboration with other team members and senior staff.

o Contribute ideas on how the team can become more effective - at regular team meetings such as Sprint retrospectives for example.

oMentor junior colleagues, analysing their strengths and weaknesses and providing advice and guidance to develop their skills and abilities (particularly their technical expertise).

o Actively listen to the advice and guidance of colleagues and tune behaviour accordingly - for example listen to suggestions from colleagues during pair programming sessions and code reviews.

o Speak confidently to groups of users or peers; Demonstrating ideas, concepts and software and answering questions.
