Job summary
DHCW is currently engaged in the delivery of several projects designed to improve and modernise its digital infrastructure. This activity is a key building block in the delivery of safe and effective digital services for patients in Wales.
A Project Manager is required to join a small team delivering a number of independent projects as part of DHCW's Infrastructure Programme.
The Project Manager will lead, manage and ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure projects/workstreams of moderate complexity, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost.
Main duties of the job
Working within the DHCW Operations team, this will be an opportunity to work with technical colleagues to deliver improvements to DHCW's national digital infrastructure and improve digital services for the delivery of health and care in Wales.
The role will involve:
- Leading projects/workstreams to modernise infrastructure
- Working with stakeholders and technical colleagues to deliver key activity
- Providing the appropriate reporting and controls to ensure that the project is delivered to the agreed quality, timescales and costs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
