We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Principal Support & Business Analyst, to join one of our applications team, supporting major National software applications for the NHS in Wales, and working specifically within the Hospital Pharmacy Services team.
As a Principal Support & Business Analyst you will be required to take a flexible and innovative approach to work, combined with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, to help ensure that the applications perform to the requirements of its users and clinicians. As part of the role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all the aspects of the support functions of the application.
- Management of Senior Support & Business analysts and Support & Business Analysts.
Main duties of the job
As part of the role you will be expected to:
- Provide expertise in ITIL service Delivery and Service Support
- Lead on business development projects, monitoring the work of senior support and business analysts, and where relevant developers.
- Assess and manage the impact of future, legislative, technical, clinical and business changes, at both a Health Board and National level
- Oversee the on-going configuration and maintenance of the solution, so that it continues to deliver benefits both nationally and at a health board level.
- Monitor and manage the on-going performance of the system to ensure it continues to perform to the required standards of the service.
- Provide specialist information analysis to a variety of stakeholders

- Incident, Change, Problem and Release management in accordance with the ITIL framework.
We are looking for highly motivated and process driven individual, who can quickly learn our systems, and respond to a variety of support requirements and demands.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
