The Service Management Team have an exciting opportunity for a Service Management Support Officer to join the team.
We are looking to recruit a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to provide administrative support to the Service Accounts Manager and the wider Service Management Team. The post holder will support and work alongside the existing administration team
Service Management are responsible for the governance and implementation of Service Management practices and processes to support DHCW in providing services to NHS Wales, ensuring reliable, accurate and timely information is available to Healthcare Professionals.
This position will provide the successful candidate with a detailed insight into Service Management and opportunities to progress within the Service Management field, should they wish.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a high-level of secretariat support to the Service Accounts Manager as well as working alongside Service Management administration colleagues to support the requirements of the wider Service Management Team.
Main duties of the job
- To manage administrative requirements and assist Service Management Leads within the organisation.
- Prioritise work in order that all aspects of the services are fully functional, timely and responsive.
- To coordinate diary appointments, arrange meetings, communicating with a wide range of colleagues, service users and stakeholders, including the organising, administration and recording of minutes for regular IT Service Management Boards.
- Prepare, maintain, and collate reports as required, utilising Power BI and other equivalent reporting tools.
- To provide support to Service Management Specialists and Leads in the development and deployment of Transition and Service Level Management arrangements.
- To manage the provision of support services ensuring a consistent approach across all IT Service Management Boards.
- To act as point of contact for Directorates/other DHCW locations for all accommodation and administration issues.
- Liaise with and support colleagues within the wider Service Management Team to resolve issues appropriately.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
