Job summary
Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) are a new Special Health Authority, creating the digital solutions needed to improve healthcare in Wales. As a Software Developer working in the single record on the Welsh Clinical Portal and various eForms you will be working with a team of Developers, Business Analysts, Testers, and Business Owners using agile scrum methodology. You will help develop applications that will enhance the ability of Health Care Professionals to provide better outcomes for patients using .Net , C# , JavaScript (jQuery), MVC, SQL and HTML.
Main duties of the job
To take a full part in backlog , backlog refinement, Sprint planning , scrum , retrospective and sprint demo meetings
To ensure that code reviews are completed in a timely manner
Discuss progress with colleagues in the development team
Contribute to the team on how to improve the development process
Demonstrate functionality developed in the sprint to interested parties
Ensure the DevOps is updated correctly and timely to ensure its an accurate reflection on the progress of development during the sprint
Work with the support team where necessary on resolution of issues affecting users.

- Bachelor's degree in Software Development or equivalent qualifications, knowledge or experience.
