Job summary
As part of its responsibilities for projects within NHS Wales, DHCW develops and maintains the project test strategy in alignment with operational requirements and specifications. The goal is to ensure that the application meets the expectations of users and clinicians. Additionally, DHCW provides expert guidance and assistance on software testing to various areas of health informatics within the NHS. All testing work is carried out in compliance with the Digital Health Care Wales Test Framework's policies, processes, and procedures. As a Lead Test Analyst, you will be expected to test a series of APIs to verify that the API fulfils its expected functionality, security, performance, and reliability.
This post is fixed term / secondment for 24 months to cover service needs.

Main duties of the job
To test a series of APIs to verify that the API fulfils its expected functionality , security, performance, and reliability.
To develop and maintain the project test strategy on projects for which DHCW is responsible in accordance with specifications and operational requirements of NHS Wales.
To ensure that the application performs to the requirements of its users and clinicians.
To provide specialist advice and support on software testing to the NHS in various areas of health informatics
All testing work is undertaken in accordance with the policies, processes and procedures as described by the Digital Health Care Wales Test Framework
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- Experience of writing and implementing test strategies and plans for complex environments
