NHS 111 Clinical Practitioner

This is a fabulous opportunity to join our CQC Outstanding award-winning team! We are offering a band 8 Clinical Practitioner role for various sites near you.

Salary

Band 8 - £48,539 this is DHUs own banding and does not match the agenda for change.

30% enhancement pay between 6pm and 8am.

45% enhancement pay on the weekends.

Main duties of the job

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a 111 Clinical Practitioner to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for contacting patients with a wide spectrum of clinical conditions within the services provided by DHU 111 (East Midlands CIC) and providing them with clinical assessment, treatment, referral and advice as appropriate, which will all be telephony based.

We offer a variety of shift patterns including, 4 on 4 off, days, evenings, nights, full time, and part time options available. We offer flexible options to suit you.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Substantial autonomous practice experience supported by qualifications such as; Autonomous Practice A33.
  • Academic qualifications in Level 6 or 7 clinical examination module, Level 6 or 7 minor illness module and RCN Accredited Nurse Practitioner Module or Emergency Care Practitioner Qualification
  • Substantial and broad experience of using advanced clinical examination skills within practice in the assessment/management of both adults and/or children.
  • Experience non-medical prescriber
