NHS 111 Clinical Practitioner
Location: Derby, Oldbury, Chesterfield, Leicester
Salary: £24.82 per hour
Evenings: 30% enhancement
Weekends: 45% enhancement
Full Time or Part Time: we offer a variety of shift patterns, including Days, Evenings, Nights & Weekend only, ranging from 15 to 37.5 hours per week

A day in the life of an NHS 111 Clinical Practitioner with DHU will involve:
- Working as a part of a compassionate & professional team.
- Making a positive impact on the lives of patients.
- Delivering safe, effective & patient focused care.
- Autonomous practice without direct supervision
- Applying robust clinical knowledge to the validation of ambulance & A&E department outcomes
To be a successful NHS 111 Clinical Practitioner youll need:
- Registered adult nurse with the NMC, Paramedic registered with the HCPC or a pharmacist registered with the GPC
- Evidence of autonomous practice qualification such as AP A33
- Level 6 or 7 minor illness module
- RCN Accredited nurse practitioner module or ECP qualification
- Good Level of IT / PC skills
- Be motivated, passionate, positive, resilient, and determined to provide the best care.

Essential
- Registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Substantial autonomous practice experience supported by qualifications such as; Autonomous Practice A33.
- Academic qualifications in Level 6 or 7 clinical examination module, Level 6 or 7 minor illness module and RCN Accredited Nurse Practitioner Module or Emergency Care Practitioner Qualification
- Substantial and broad experience of using advanced clinical examination skills within practice in the assessment/management of both adults and/or children.
- Experience non-medical prescriber
