Location:Covering bases acrossDerbyshire, includingDerby,Chesterfield, andIlkeston, with 9 other peripheral bases operating at weekends.
Working Patterns:Bank Contract, 12-month Fixed-Term Contract, covering evenings, overnights and weekends (minimum requirement on x2 shifts per month)
Competitive salary:DHU Band 8b.0, £62,484 per annum (pro rata) with a 30% evening enhancement, and 45% weekend enhancement

What your typical day looks like:
- Providing independent, advanced clinical care for patients aged 12 weeks and older, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals.
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic investigations, identifying when specialist input is needed.
- Engaging clearly and confidently with patients and carers to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborating within a multi-professional team while maintaining accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
- Prescribing medications within non-medical prescribing guidelines and ensuring safe discharge or appropriate referrals.
To be a successful Advanced Practitioner youll need:
- Registered and practicing with a recognized professional body.
- Registered as a non-medical prescriber.
- Completed at least two Level 7 modules, including Minor Illness & Minor Injury
- Ability to work autonomously within multi-professional teams.
- Skilled in assessing and managing complex conditions in both adults and children.

- Has experience in one of the following: nurse led clinics, emergency care centres ,out of hours facilities or walk in centres
- Consolidated Independent Prescribing experience.
