Competitive salary: £29,970 - £36,483 (Band 5)
Main duties of the job
A key focus of this role will be on creating, maintaining, analysing and reporting value added, accurate and consistent data to communicate and escalate any People Relations areas of concern, areas for required and continuous improvement.
You will lead on supporting DHU and the People & Culture team with all People Relations responsibilities, including but not limited to; training relating to People Relations for Advisors and managers to be able to best support our people, procedures, best practice and legislation.

Serve as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert for people relations issues for the people and culture team to support improved quality, continuous improvement focus and team development
Focus on conflict resolution utisliing trained internal mediators and other means available to ensure where relevant we aim to resolve issues informally.
Ensure a key focus around risk mitigation in all people relations activities
Conduct regular periodic reviews of all people relations cases utilising the people relations tracker, ensuring accuracy of data captured by the team, escalating concerns to responsible Business Partner and the Head of People and Culture with a focus on solutions.
Ensure own and others appropriate documentation completion and capture for all people relations cases and ensure due process compliance and resolution in accordance with People & Culture templates, DHU procedures, best practice and legal requirements.
Partner with People & Culture leadership and legal counsel as needed on complex people relations issues.
Measure and analyse procedure adherence with a view to driving required improvements where the need arises.

Essential
- A good general standard of education, professional degree level
- A relevant professional HR qualification (CIPD level 5, or at least level 3, but already working towards level 5)
- Strong Employee Relations experience (Ideally a min of 2 years)
- Experience of reviewing & creating policies and procedures
- Previous HR experience within the healthcare sector is desirable.
- Experience in managing conflicting priorities and workloads to ensure timely and efficient responses.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Confidence and ability to challenge in a professional manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations.
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible to change.
- Positive, proactive and adaptable approach
- Right to work in the UK.
