As the Finance Business Partner at DHU Health Care CIC, you will be responsible for supporting allocated divisions and services by delivering the Finance & Commercial Strategy. Your role will involve providing timely and robust financial information to ensure informed decision-making and value-for-money services.

You will work closely with stakeholders to establish and maintain a robust budget, forecasts, and management accounts, while also producing ad hoc analyses to support projects, organisational changes, and new tenders.

Main duties of the job

What your typical day looks like:

  • Production of annual budget in conjunction with stakeholders
  • Production of meaningful monthly management accounts
  • Supporting delivery of and reporting of Marginal Enhancements Programmes (MEP) and working with services to identify financial opportunities.
  • Identifying and quantifying financial risks and mitigating actions
  • Consolidating accounts and producing different cuts
  • Producing trend analysis, variance analysis and bridge statements
  • Mentoring Assistant Accountant
  • Deputising for Head of Finance
  • Working as part of the Finance Business Partner team and wider Finance team to ensure effective, streamlined financial processes, system and reporting.
