Main duties of the job

What your typical day looks like:

New Starter Management:Create, organise, and maintain folders for new starters, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and filed correctly.

Communication with Trainees:Contact trainees prior to starting training to ensure they have successfully logged into DLS and have started their pre-module learning. Communicate any requirement for shift changes.

Data Input: Accurately input and maintain training-related data in various systems and databases.

Training Material Preparation:Print, scan, and prepare training materials as needed, ensuring all resources are up to date and available for training sessions

To be successfulyoull need:

  • Organisational Skills:Ability to create, organise, and maintain documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Communication Skills:Proficiency in contacting and liaising with trainees, ensuring they are informed and prepared for training.
  • Technical Proficiency:Competence in managing digital learning platforms, including enrolling candidates and tracking progress.
  • Attention to Detail:Diligence in preparing, printing, and scanning training materials to ensure all resources are current and available.

Administration

Proactively provide general administration services and undertake clerical duties in a professional, timely manner, as and when requested

Adhering to all procedures, protocols and other relevant memoranda as appropriate

Providing assistance/training to new members of staff to ensure the maintenance of a high quality service, as and when required

Maintaining strict confidentiality in relation to all issues concerned within the service and adhering to the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1984

Providing cover for sickness, bank holidays, annual leave, etc as requested

Maintaining equipment checking systems and printers as necessary and reporting any faults to senior member of staff

Adhering to Health and Safety Policy

Communicate outstanding issues to your manager or shift replacement before going off duty

Notifying Line Manager/s or Duty Supervisor of any circumstances which may affect the provision of a high quality service

Keeping our patients, the public and ourselves safe and well is part of every role in DHU. To maintain high levels of safety all staff are encouraged to openly report incidents and any risk identified in Datix

Assisting the CQI Team to maintain accurate and up to date staff records
