Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be responsible to track all Data Subject Rights and other third-party data requests received by DHU Healthcare to ensure compliance with GDPR and associated legislative requirements. In addition, providing support to the wider organisation in relation to the compliance and secure use of personal information to meet the business objectives of DHU Healthcare.
The post holder will participate in promoting and advancing DHU Health Care CIC, whilst working towards DHUs Values, behaviour's, and principles

Job responsibilities
Lead on and be responsible for processing the requests and enquiries made under the Data a Protection Act & GDPR in line with internal DHU policies & procedures and UK Data Protection legislation.
Give detailed consideration to complex requests and apply appropriate redactions / exemptions as outlined in the Data Protection Act and DHU policies & procedures, working closely with DHU staff to ensure redactions are appropriate.
Manage a varied and complex workload, prioritising tasks across multiple information requests and taking decisions on redactions, erasures, restrictions.
Act as a key point of contact and assist DHUs Information Governance & Data Protection Team in the collation of cross cutting DPA requests, enquiries or complaints.
To maintain an awareness of the GDPR and related data protection legislation.
Liaise with other key members of DHU, to determine appropriate case redactions / ex-emptions.
Assist with addressing queries/complaints and respond to the identification of and resolution of data quality issues ensuring that data subject rights are met where possible.
Ad hoc administrative tasks associated with the role.
