Job summary

As a Health Care Assistant, you will be working across all our DACS clinics, working alongside our friendly, patient focused clinical, and administrative team providing an essential support and delivering the best care to our patients. As well as general HCA duties, there will be training available for the following clinics.

Spirometry/ FeNO diagnostics

Dermatology Photo hub

Health checks

You will be flexible, have good general standard of education, have a healthcare certifcate with experience in a relevant health or social care setting.

  • Participate in the administrative and professional responsibilities of the team.
  • Ensure accurate and legible notes of all consultations in the patients notes.
  • Ensure the clinical computer system is kept up to date, with accurate details recorded and amended and
  • Ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation associated with patient health care.

Supplies and equipment

Restocking and maintenance of clinical areas and consulting rooms. Report restocking requests to Clinic co-ordinator

Ensure all equipment is maintained, calibrated and sanitised as per Clinic standard operating procedures and Infection control policy.

  • Report any issues with Diagnostic, photographic or IT equipment to the service co-ordinator or IT support as appropriate.

Liaison

There is a need to work closely with the clinicians and administrative staff on site; and

Report any concerns, issues to the Service co-ordinator.
