Job summary
Developing the expertise of our people, in everything from technical skills to leadership, is critical to our success. Supporting our Leadership, Performance and Culture team, youll coordinate a large and complex programme of courses and events. This will include negotiating with external venues to make arrangements for courses, providing information to stakeholders on the training programmes offered, organising schedules and calendars relating to training activities, and managing our course booking system. You will also provide secretarial support for key meetings and oversee the recruitment and training of other administrative staff.
Main duties of the job
Typically, these duties will involve: Planning, scheduling, and marketing the full range of learning and development events nationally. Deputising for the LPC Customer Services Team Manager in their absence. Acting as an ambassador at all times for the Leadership, Performance and Culture (LPC) and People function of NHSBT. Participating in the development and implementation of LPC policy & procedure across the organisation. Communicating education, training and development information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, to enable the provision and implementation of high quality learning and development opportunities. Developing good working relationships with internal and external education and training stakeholders through effective communication. Assisting the LPC Customer Services Team Manager in monitoring shared email in-boxes and manage queries/questions raised, escalating to colleagues and managers as appropriate. You may be required to undertake occasional travel to any NHSBT sites and external sites to meet the requirements of the post (notice will be given).
