Job summary
You will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administration service to the National Construction Programme Manager and their team, whilst also providing support to other Regional Estates & Facilities managers and members of the Technical Services Team as and when required. You will work with managers and staff across the country and will visit our centres as and when required as part of the Project Team. You will undertake an induction and training programme, with ongoing assessment, and receive ongoing development to support you in your role and achieving your career ambitions.
Main duties of the job
You will be providing a highly professional, proactive and comprehensive secretarial and administration service to undertake administrative duties for the Construction Programme and Technical Services. Your duties will typically include: Maintaining communication links between managers, teams and external agencies, which enables the construction programme is delivered on time and to the required standards. Providing dedicated support to a named senior manager(s) within the team to ensure diary, travel arrangements and all relevant paperwork and documents are prepared in advance. Assisting in the development and preparation of project plans, producing instructions for new works and recommending amendments to existing policies and protocols. Monitoring capital, revenue and backlog maintenance budgets and prepare a monthly report for the National Construction Programme Manager Maintaining records for annual leave, training, expenditure and staff absence. Dealing with queries and requests for information from members of the public You will be required to travel to other NHSBT and external sites, with appropriate notice.
