Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for leading Organ Donation and Transplantation to develop future system requirements to meet our current and evolving business needs. Your responsibilities will include: Leading a multi-functional team in a matrix approach to deliver business system priorities in an Agile development approach. Providing an oversight of product development to senior management in order to influence prioritisation needs of the business. Responsibility for the development and implementation of associated user guides and policy documentation associated with systems designed. Reporting into the Head of Product, the role holder will be an expert in our core systems such as DonorPath, TransplantPath and National Transplant Database (NTxD), but also have an in-depth knowledge of what our business and requirements are. Managing relationships with a complex array of stakeholders such as ICT; Organ Donation and Transplantation Senior Managers (up to Director level); Suppliers; Operational Teams; Marketing and Comms Gathering and analysing feedback from service users to help shape the major IT systems that Organ Donation and Transplantation use. You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice
