Job summary
The Estates and Facilities Department covers a very diverse range of duties, which means that you would interact closely with employees and contractors on a wide range of matters. You will work as part of a small team who are customer focussed and have a very proactive and can-do attitude.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for administering the effective and efficient delivery of a comprehensive Estates and Facilities service, including the provision of local site services and co-ordination of a range of external suppliers and contractors. Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Administering effective and efficient delivery of a comprehensive Estates and Facilities service, including provision of local site services and coordination of a range of external suppliers and contractors.
- Acting as a point of contact for resolving issues brought to your attention by internal and external contacts such as employees, donors, member of the public, contractors, and suppliers.
- Liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders including managers contractors, suppliers, framework partners, staff, visitors, local authorities, emergency services, other NHS organisations.
- Monitoring, coordinating and proactively contribute to the maintenance of NHSBT Estates and Facilities services to the highest standards, to meet the needs of NHSBT, its stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and statutes.
- Supervising the Facilities Administrators effectively.
