Job summary

Whilst these are permanent opportunity, the transformation programmes you can expect to work on include designing and delivery our people plan, transforming our donor centres and support the creation of new operating models. You will collaborate closely with the Programme Director, SRO, Programme Board and the delivery Team. You will have a proven track record in managing end-to-end programmes, leading, and effectively communicating with leadership to drive strategic change agendas. You will have an innovative, problem-solving approach. Experience, understanding and interest in delivery similar large-scale change will be advantageous. You will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and, by being part of a passionate, enthusiastic, supportive, and high performing team, you will contribute to life-saving work. Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for delivery of large-scale change programmes within NHSBT. You will join an enthusiastic team with ambitious plans to deliver an exciting transformation programme across the organisation. This will be to agreed schedule, budget and quality. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the design and delivery of an assigned transformation programme to achieve its outcomes and benefits, in line with the overall NHSBT strategy. Providing leadership support to the Programme Director and providing guidance on programme development and issue resolution to programme leadership Assuring project and programme products; including tracking, monitoring, and reporting of programme milestones, budgets, and outcomes Developing and maintaining realistic programme delivery plans with support from key stakeholders, and publishing these to the SRO and the Programme Board. Manage the interfaces and communications with the senior stakeholders, including the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO), the Business Leads (as accountable executives), and Delivery Leads. The SRO is normally an NHSBT Executive Director Leading any assigned project managers to deliver their projects successfully, by developing a highly motivated and performing team that comply with all relevant internal and external standards, regulations, and our P3 Methodology The ability to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally abroad with prior notice.
