Job summary
Are you passionate about data analysis, relationship building, and making impactful decisions? Donor Planning and Performance (DPP) is looking for a dedicated Donor Planning and Performance Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring a steady blood supply by analysing donor data to ensure we have the right-sized sessions in the right areas to meet hospital demand, as well as fostering relationships with our colleagues in Blood Supply. The successful candidate will also benefit from training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and advance their career within NHSBT
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for Donor Planning and Performance, working with Blood Donation Operations and Planning Services to facilitate the successful design and delivery of team-level collection programmes to support the Blood Supply Collection Business Plan, ensuring that the donor is at the forefront of all decision making. Your responsibilities will include: Provides specialist knowledge and expertise to ensure appropriate actions are taken, across Blood Supply and DXC, to achieve collection volumes and blood group mix through all donation sessions and drive the best outcomes, within the area and region. Ensure all appointment systems and processes are designed and customised to match collection requirements at session level, considerate of seasonal trends in donor behaviour and hospital demand. Collaborate across the supply chain, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive the best outcome for donors. You will be required to travel and spend time away from workplace to meet the requirements of the post with appropriate notice.
