Estates & Facilities Manager
This job is now closed
Job summary
You'll join a unique and forward-thinking team; a team in which innovation, integrity and commitment are encouraged and embraced.
Estates and Facilities within NHS Blood and Transplant are different to anywhere else in the NHS (and other organisations too). We operate from 90 properties across England, but its the nature of the sites rather than the size of the portfolio that really matters.
Each main site incorporates laboratories (where blood is processed, samples are tested), we operate apheresis units (for the collection of blood / therapeutic work), occupy offices, mobile team bases and warehouses (where stocks are stored to support the day-to-day operation).
It's this diversity of services and support that makes these roles stand out. If you're keen to see both sides of estates and facilities management - you'll be in your element.
We have one fixed term post for 12 months available. Secondments will be considered for internal staff, but please ensure you check with your current line manager before submitting an application.
On-call working is a requirement of this role, an allowance will be paid.
Please note, following changes to UK immigration policy from April 4th, for sponsorship eligibility for this role please refer to the UK Visas and Immigration guidance on Skilled Worker Visas.
