Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Donor Experience Directorate at NHS Blood and Transplant and lead the delivery of marketing campaigns to recruit new blood or plasma donors. This is a fast paced role, which requires drive and resilience to deliver stretching targets within tight timeframes. You will be joining a focused and collaborative team who are working to save and improve thousands of lives every year.
Main duties of the job
You will lead on the development and delivery of the annual stem cells and platelets marketing plan. We are looking for a confident self starter, capable of impacting and influencing colleagues across the Directorate. In this challenging and fast paced role you will lead on the development, coordination and delivery of new donor marketing campaigns. No two days will be the same as you develop engaging communications to target a variety of audiences effectively across owned, earned and shared channels. Responsibilities include: Leading on the development and delivery of the annual stem cells and platelets marketing plan aligning to strategic objectives Influencing and collaborating with experts across the Directorate to develop, deliver and evaluate marketing plans and campaigns which meet business targets. Accountable for the development, coordination and delivery of stem cells and platelets campaigns. Ensuring they deliver continuous learning and efficiencies. Manage the budget, tracking spend and forecasting cost per acquisition. Creating engaging creative platforms that can work cross channels, engaging with colleagues across the directorate to ensure consistency across the donor experience. Matrix management of other Donor Experience staff and wider NHSBT teams to deliver marketing activities to achieve business goals. You may be required to travel and spend time away from base, working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice
