Job summary

You will be responsible for managing business analysis activity which will include the management of internal and external business analysts, and previous experience of this is preferred. The job involves several simultaneous projects each with their own deliverables and time-frames. Day-to-day, youll liaise with colleagues to manage the team workload to meet these time-frames, and renegotiate them where necessary before referring to your manager for support and guidance whenever needed. The post requires autonomy and initiative, as most project teams are remote and virtual, so this post suits those who are confident in their abilities, happy to ask for guidance when necessary and relish the opportunity to take ownership of their deliverables. Main duties of the job

You will be working on developing business focussed IT-led solutions and provide a range of services to deliver the NHSBT operational and strategic change agenda. You will responsible for: Aligning project and programme IT solution options with the NHSBT strategic and architecture direction and communicating them effectively with external and internal stakeholders Providing leadership and line management to the Business Solutions Analysts and Business Analyst Preparing accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specifications as well as developing and maintaining standards, policies and guidelines. Providing governance to solutions development both internal and external through lifecycle of NHSBT systems to ensure business needs are met. Coordinating cross functional groups of business units to validate, evaluate new business processes and functions, and determine issues in services and software Undertaking research and development to ensure best fit of the IT solutions to NHSBTs corporate business requirements Designing business processes and workflows that deliver industry leading performance and having responsibility for business process assurance Compliance and quality management in line with regulatory requirements that govern NHSBT s businesses You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required.
