Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Donor Experience & Communication Directorate for an experienced individual to join the team on 12 months fixed term contract. The Service Owner role will see the successful candidate take a lead role in establishing and driving forward end-to-end activity that supports new donors having a positive experience and becoming regular donors. As a key objective for this year for the wider Donor Experience & Communications Directorate, the role will give fantastic exposure to a variety of teams and allow the successful candidate to collaborate and have a tangible impact on critical measures. The post holder will work collaboratively with Donor Journey Managers, thereby influencing decisions and being a source of support. This role will report to the Head of Service Ownership & Strategy.

Main duties of the job

1. Accountability for a strategy that manages product development from conception to improvement.

2. Responsible and accountable for the KPIs of given service, thereby defining what matters most.

3. Ensuring a robust evidence based and outcome driven plans for achieving committed targets.

4. Building effective relationships that outline the standards for collaborative working.

5. Leading service strategy and inspiring a culture of innovative future thinking.

6. Collaboration with Donor Journey Managers and other teams across the Donor Experience and Communications directorate.

7. Coordinating multiple initiatives across different teams to achieve a great donor and organisational outcomes.

8. Influencing key teams and stakeholders towards improved customer outcomes.

9. Responsibility for end-to-end Donor Experience for a defined service or segment of NHSBT.

  • 2.Specialist knowledge in the field of IT technology
  • 3.Possession of a valid driving licence, allowing you to drive in the UK
  • 4.Demonstrates commitment to own continued professional development (CPD)

  • 1.Experience in interpreting user data to design and implement channel shift strategies to move users from traditional to digital delivery channels.
  • 2.Extensive project management experience and specialist understanding of project management techniques.

  • 6.Experience of managing resources against an agreed budget.
