Job summary
You will be providing an expert advisory service to all NHSBT managers and employees on a range of People issues to ensure that organisational objectives and People targets are achieved.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will be a key member of the HR Direct Leadership Team, provide direction and line management to the HR Direct Advisors within Tier 2. Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking accountability for escalated queries and cases from Line Managers requiring resolution within SLA
- Providing advice and assistance in interpretation and application of policy to employees and managers on HR related issues
- Delivering a self-sufficient Attendance Case Management Service across the whole of NHSBT.
- Supporting the HR Direct Service Manager, work in collaboration with Tier 1 Team Leader to ensure professional and effective delivery of service across the function.
- Supporting the ethos of continuous improvement and personal development throughout the whole of HR Direct with a coaching approach.
- Maintaining high levels of Quality in Service delivery through internal audit checks, case reviews, etc. to identify development gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Producing reports and commentary on performance, as well as using intelligence to propose amendments, and input to policy and procedure discussions
- Demonstrating high levels of Customer Service, with a proactive approach to complaint handling
