Main duties of the job

* Responsible for undertaking healthcare waste customer pre-acceptance audits and producing reports in accordance with legal requirements, following CHP waste management policy & process. Keen attention to detail and adherence to guidelines to ensure effective waste management practices and compliance. * Review third-party healthcare waste customer pre-acceptance audits in accordance with legal requirements, following CHP process, and report on findings. * Provide advice, training, and waste technical assessments to healthcare waste customers, supporting waste segregation best practice in waste management and compliance. * Responsible for conducting audits of healthcare waste customer waste at CHP facilities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. * Report compliance to the operational team and present findings to customers when requested. * Conduct duty of care audits at disposal vendor sites to ensure CHP compliance with duty of care regulations. Ensuring CHP's commitment to compliance and sustainability. * Support the administration of the waste pre-acceptance process, ensuring smooth operations. * Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation. * Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation. * Completes audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings. * Maintain internal systems by updating audit programs and audit paperwork. * Communicate audit
