Join us as Diagnostics Radiographerat our Mobile X-Ray Service, Nationwide service based in Prisons.
You will travel from Devon and Cornwall to East Kent, covering prisons across the South of England.
You will be working closely & supporting the Clinical Lead Radiographer to deliver efficient X-Ray services at our prison sites, ensuring an exemplary levels of service is upheld for patients, referrers and clinical team.
For this position you should hold a: BSc in Diagnostics Radiographer or equivalent, HCPC registered & prior experience post registration.
The ideal candidate is required to have the ability to work independently, good communication and interpersonal skill. This role will require you to be flexible in approach to work and have availability to work and able to cover shifts at short notice.
Main duties of the job
In this varied Radiographer role you will have to demonstrate your highest level of patient care as well as providing comprehensive and effective high quality X-Ray service for private and NHS clients. Ensuring that all X-Ray referrals are evaluated and prioritised according to Healthshare Diagnostics clinical protocols and clinical information. This includes making sure medical exposures are carried out in accordance with Healthshare Diagnostics Radiation Safety (Medical Exposure) Policy and to act as a Practitioner, carrying out justification of exposures where required.

- To exercise the highest standard of patient care and actively enhance the patient experience.
- To provide a comprehensive and effective high quality mobile X-Ray service for Private and
NHS clients.
- To perform a range of X-Ray examinations, produce consistently high quality radiographs and
maintain a high level of expertise in the safe operation of imaging equipment.

radiographic technique where patient presentation dictates.
- To ensure that all X-Ray referrals are evaluated and prioritised according to Healthshare
Diagnostics clinical protocols and clinical information.

Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations and policies.
- To maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Escalate any problems, incidents and concerns to a senior member of staff.
- To ensure that accurate records are maintained in line with the policies and procedures.
- Comply with National & Local Infection Control Polices & Procedures.
- To liaise with the Radiologist or referring Consultant in an effective and professional manner,
in order to provide the best possible service for the patient.
- Work with minimal supervision or under own initiative.
- To participate in the Quality Assurance Programme in accordance with company policies
- Follow the Health & Safety at work Act and ensure adherence to Healthshare Diagnostics
polices.
- To support Risk Assessments that provide environmental, equipment and working procedures
