Job summary

To lead in the development of reception operations To lead the receptionists to achieve a high level of patient satisfaction To achieve a high level of staff satisfaction amongst the receptionists To develop standard operating procedures for all areas of reception To develop a happy working culture amongst the receptionists To harness the development of digital access systems and develop new ways of working at reception To develop the brand image of the practice and ensure all business stationery updated To work closely with the practice manager to achieve key performance indicators To work closely with the clinical improvement lead to improve administrative processes within reception To work closely with local pharmacies to improve the experience of pharmacy staff and communication To create efficiencies with daily workflow and task management To work closely with the head of admin and operations to improve administration within reception

Main duties of the job

Head Receptionist required for a busy friendly team at talybont surgery,

The Reception Team Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of our busy reception team; ensuring services are delivered in accordance with practice procedures and protocols and within required timescales.

To provide a proficient and effective support to the Practice Management Team

Talybont Surgery is a 5 partner GP practice based on the boundary between Swansea and Carmarthenshire. Although we are a Swansea University Health Board practice, one third of our patients are residents of Carmarthenshire. We have a list size of approximately 9700 patients. We are a close knit team of partners, salaried GPs, nurses and HCA. We also have the benefit of an in-house pharmacist and are supported by an experienced friendly team of admin staff.
