Job summary

Talybont Surgery

To provide high quality pharmaceutical care within a primary care setting

The successful candidate will be employed by the GP Practice/Medical Centre, not Swansea Bay University Health Board

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit a newly qualified pharmacist as part of the HEIW post-foundation pharmacist programme starting in September 2022. This role is suitable for all current foundation pharmacists and is subject to successful completion of the foundation pharmacist programme.

The successful applicant will be supported by an experienced practice supervisor and will also be provided with a DPP for completion of the independent prescribing programme.

Talybont Surgery is a 5 partner GP practice based on the boundary between Swansea and Carmarthenshire. Although we are a Swansea University Health Board practice, one third of our patients are residents of Carmarthenshire. We have a list size of approximately 9700 patients. We are a close knit team of Partners, a Salaried GP, Nurses and HCA. We also have the benefit of an in-house Pharmacist and are supported by an experienced friendly team of admin staff.
