We are looking for an enthusiastic Physicians Associate to join our friendly, well-respected and dynamic team. We are flexible and looking for 8 – 10 sessions a week. Welsh speaking would be desirable, but not essential. Our practice team is very stable with a very low staff turnover

The successful candidate will be employed by the GP Practice/Medical Centre, not Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board

Main duties of the job

Our Practice consists of:

· 4800 patients

· Three GP Partners – reducing to two in July 2022

· Salaried GP – increasing to two in July 2022

· Advanced Nurse Practitioner

· Experienced nursing team, with daily nurse triage

· Chronic disease management clinics

· Significant commitment to two local Community Hospitals

· Strong commitment to staff training and career progression

· Undergraduate Teaching

· Nurse and Pharmacist training to Masters or Independent Prescribing

· Excellent support staff, including social prescriber

· Close working with allied health professionals such as District Nurses, Community Pharmacies and Palliative Care Team.

· Experienced Management and excellent Administrative support.

· Very high QAIF Achiever

· Daily team meeting

· No OOH commitments (but sessions are available locally)

· EMIS Web computer system using E-Consults and AccuRx
