Job summary

Abertillery Group Practice, The Bridge Centre Health Centre, 

To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team

The successful candidate will be employed by the GP Practice/Medical Centre, notAneurin Bevan University Health Board

Main duties of the job

Salaried GP (flexibility of 4-8 sessions)We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable GP with excellent communication and clinical skills to join our well-established, friendly and innovative practice. Our practice is value-based and team centred with an emphasis on practice wide care. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, dynamic, and forward-thinking team. We welcome applications from recently qualified to experienced GPs.About us:• 6,800 patients• 2 Partners, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA’s and excellent administrative support• Directly employed Independent Prescriber Pharmacist• Vision and Docman• Enhanced services – minor surgery, DVLA• Accredited as a training practice for Cardiff University, GP trainees, and practice nursesWe offer:• 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave pro rata; School-term based contracts• Excellent salary• Additional Indemnity paid on top of state backed indemnity scheme• Continued development and training opportunities• Monthly clinical and palliative care meetings• The opportunity to fulfil a proactive role in the development and delivery of high quality clinical care for our patients• Flexible start date
