Job summary
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the delivery of practice nursing
services, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their
scope of practice to the entitled patient population. The advanced nurse practitioner will be
responsible for a number of clinical areas such as health promotion, chronic disease
management, health prevention, well women and well man clinics, as well as supporting
the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedure.
Main duties of the job
4 sessions per week Due to an increase in list size, we are looking to recruit an ANP working across both practice sites for 4 sessions / wk. The post would require the successful candidate to work alongside our GP and nursing teams with a mixture of on call and routine surgeries with house visits. We operate a total triage system with a Covid cabin area for assessing potential Covid patients. The ANP role is well established and integral to our practice team with our staff having experience of working with and supporting an ANP.
