Meddygfa Padarn Surgery

To provide leadership and management skills to enable the practice to meet its agreed aims and objectives.

The successful candidate will be employed by the GP Practice/Medical Centre, not Hywel Dda University Health Board

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and progressive Practice Manager to join our dynamic team at Padarn Surgery.

Padarn Surgery is a 6 Partner GP practice located in the Mid Wales University seaside town of Aberystwyth based in a modern, purpose built premises.

Our surgery has a list size of 11000 patients, which includes a diverse student and local population. The surgery is a well-established teaching and training practice.

We have 3 nurses, one of which is a Nurse Prescriber who runs her own minor illness clinic.

Our prospective Practice Manager should be a good team leader, with excellent communication skills who would work with the Partners to deliver a high standard of patient care.

Previous NHS and finance experience is desirable, but not essential.

Salary is dependent upon experience.
