Job summary

The post is for 15 hours per week over 2 days.

The candidate should be adaptable, competent and motivated in caring for patients, with the relevant qualifications. The role will include clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients and should also have experience in chronic disease management.

Main duties of the job

Furnace House Surgery is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, experienced and friendly Nurse.

We are a long established 7 partner practice with interest in training and education, situated in West Wales. We have approximately 14,900 patients.

Our practice team includes: 7 practice nurses to include chronic disease management, 2 health care assistants, 13 receptionists / administration staff. In addition, the practice benefits from the services of a number of visiting health professions including district nurses, midwives, health visitors and phlebotomists. We are a training practice and have GP registrars and medical students placed with us throughout the year.

We use the INPS Vision clinical system, and we are looking for someone who will share our commitment to providing excellent healthcare to our patients, and become part of our team. Further details can be found in the job description for this post.
