Job summary

Caergwrle Medical Practice

Meet and greet patients · Answer telephone in a professional and pleasant manner · Book appointments and direct queries appropriately · Hand out and issue prescriptions · Mail handling and document scanning · General administrative and secretarial tasks Responsiblities · Maintain confidentiality at all times, both within and outside the practice · Follow procedures and protocols · Use the EMIS clinical system to maintain accurate and comprehensive records · Action tasks in a timely and accurate manner · Maintain an adaptable, friendly, supportive and pro-active ethos

The successful candidate will be employed by the GP Practice/Medical Centre, not Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a part time (24 hours/week over 3 days, Wed: 08:00 – 14:00, Thurs and Fri 08:00 – 13:00 & 14:00 to 18:00) enthusiastic candidate to join our supportive and caring team.

Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, along with IT literacy and the ability to be adaptable, multi tasking and thrive in a fast paced environment, both individually and as part of our close knit team.

Confidentiality, attention to detail and a good phone manner are also important. We encourage training and envisage developing the right candidate to join our qualified dispensary team (Previous experience of working in a dispensing GP Practice desirable but not essential as training will be given)
