As a salaried GP in De Winton Field Practice you will be a valuable member of the team providing primary healthcare services to our local community in the Rhondda locality.
The practice will consider a position under the GP retainer scheme for the right individual.
The practice is a successful training practice and has close links with HEIW and CTMUHB.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will report to the senior partners and practice manager. Responsibilities include patient consultations , prescribing, clinical examinations to diagnose , assess and manage patient conditions, attend home visits as part of the on call role, work within the multidisciplinary team to deliver a coordinated and comprehensive care experience, attend regular clinical meetings as required.
About us
De Winton Field Practice is a training practice with a current list size of 9300 patients. Current staff includes 4 GP partners, 4 salaried GPs , cluster pharmacist, a pharmacy technician , an established nursing team, onsite physio service and mental health nurse. We aim to provide high quality primary care services and are located in a refurbished Health Centre. The practice is located approximately 40 minutes from Cardiff and has good transport links.
