Practice Nurse, part-time 28.5 hours, competitive salary.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse to join our dedicated team following a staff retirement.

If you are looking to broaden your horizons and take on a challenging and rewarding role within a supportive practice, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking cover for three days per weekWednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Hours are negotiable, and we would be happy to discuss arrangements that work well for both the candidate and the practice.

The successful candidate would ideally have experience of working in General Practice and be working at Band 6 equivalent. Salary is dependent on experience and competitive within the locality.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate would ideally have experience of working in General Practice.

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and highly motivated Nurse to provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for our patients. It is desirable for the post holder to have previous experience in treatment room duties, Chronic Disease Management, Cytology, Family Planning, Travel Health and immunisations. Competency in Minor illness management is advantageous, but not essential.

Fforestfach Medical Group provides care to approximately 14,000 patients, located in a central location, serving a diverse population. We have a large, friendly and motivated team, consisting of four Practice Nurses, two Health Care Support Workers, and an exceptional management and administrative team, all supporting our highly dedicated GPs.
