Due to retirement, Mount Surgery is looking to recruit one or more Salaried GPs, with a view to partnership.

Mount Surgery has strong links to Swansea University Medical School, as well as being a training practice for GP Registrars. We also employ a broad range of support staff including Nurses, Pharmacy Technicians and Physicians Associates, with exceptional staff retention throughout the whole practice.

Main duties of the job
Provide consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients.
Manage long-term conditions and provide preventive healthcare.
Prescribe medications and refer patients to specialists when needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and complete necessary documentation.
Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement activities.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
Support training and supervision of junior staff (if required).
Adhere to NHS Wales and GMC professional standards.

- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Full Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Inclusion on the GMC GP Register
- Inclusion on the Welsh Medical Performers List
- Right to Work in the UK
Desirable
- Safeguarding training (Level 3)
Experience
Essential
- Experience in primary care and managing a full range of clinical conditions
- Teamwork in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
- Familiarity with EMIS and electronic health records
