The Receptionist, Care Navigator is a member of the reception team.
Care navigators are important members of our staff and are used to support clinical staff. You will be trained to help patients get the right help from the right place. You will work with the patients to ensure that they are signposted to the right support at the right time.
Communication between patients, members the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies is highly important to enable the smooth running of the practice and you will play a pivotal role in this.
Main duties of the job
You will offer general assistance to the Practice team and be expected to project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
You will undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the Practice.

We have 20,000 patients with 7 Partners and 9 Salaried GPs. Our Team includes Practice Manager and 2 deputy managers GPSTs, medical students 2 specialist nurse practitioners, independent prescribers, 12 highly trained practice nurses, including a prescriber.
