We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Health Care Support Worker in a full time position. The working hours are as follows:-
Monday 10am - 6pm
Tuesday 10am - 6pm
Wednesday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
The successful candidate will assist the GPs and practice nurse team in the service and delivery of the care management of the practice population and work under indirect supervision of the senior practice nurse to undertake tasks and duties delegated by the practice nurse of GP.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of our lovely practice patients.
Main duties of the job

We are an established friendly 5 Partner training practice with a growing list size (currently 14,300 patients) providing high quality primary care services in a modern purpose built health centre. We have a full complement of highly skilled staff including GP's, practice nurses, health care support workers, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and a large supportive administrative team. We are a supportive team with weekly clinical meetings and quarterly whole team meetings . We have close working relationships with multi disciplinary teams . A well organised IT efficient practice using EMIS Clinical system. We are located 25 minutes from Cardiff with good transportation links.
