Job summary

6 session salaried GP role in a training practice in Porth.

Very close to Cardiff, easy 25-30 minute commute against the traffic.

Lovely patients with highly skilled, supportive team.

Flexibility around working days, with late start and early finish offered for a 6 session doctor.

Half a day on call per week.

Low house call rate.

Main duties of the job

Your core responsibilities as a General Practitioner:

  • Perform clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose and monitor conditions

  • Carry out patient consultations at home and within the surgery

  • Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing

  • Carry out home visits where necessary

  • Diagnose and treat various illnesses/ailments

  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams
