We are looking for a friendly, hardworking person to join the team at Princess Street Surgery. You'll be the first point of contact, offering a friendly welcome and helping patients navigate their healthcare journey. Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, and acting as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multi-disciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
About us
We are a practice serving the population of Gorseinon and the surrounding area. We are a small friendly team with GPs, GP trainees, a practice pharmacist, nurse practitioner, practice nurses and a healthcare assistant. The clinical team are supported by our receptionists and administrative staff.
The practice has free car parking and is close to nearby amenities.
Your role as a GP receptionist will ensure that our patients have a smooth patient experience, keep the practice running efficiently, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
