Job summary
We are looking to expand our clinical team which has created an opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join us. We have a fantastic team consisting of 2 GPs, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 1 Pharmacist, 2 Nurses, 1 Phlebotomist and an excellent administrative team. We have a patient population of 4000 patients. Ideally, we would be looking to recruit an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with extensive knowledge and experience, an independent prescriber with experience in managing patients with acute/minor presentations, long term chronic and or complex health conditions.
You would work closely and be supported by all our GPs, Nurse Practitioner and Practice Nurses. The ideal candidate would be a forward thinker, enthusiastic individual with initiative, keen to work within a team of like-minded colleagues.

Main duties of the job
Working as an independent prescriber, our ANP will be able to diagnose and treat patients presenting with acute problems and chronic diseases, via face to face appointment, home visits and telephone consultations.
We are looking for someone who is able to work autonomously within their professional scope, alongside providing care for the presenting complaint from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care including making necessary referrals for investigations would be required.
You would be able to demonstrate the ability to make clinical decisions, while providing safe and expert care to our patient population.
